The Sarrat Visual Arts Committee presents Belgium legend Roland Delcol in his American trip to Sarrat Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee, with his exhibit entitled “Object of Desire and Metaphor”.
Sited as the precursor to hyperrealism in Belgium since 1968. Delcol hopes to inspire the viewer
to read the intellectual and poetic undertones in sexual themes.
Delcol’s work has been described as timeless where something happens without being anecdotal.
One book devoted to Delcol’s work is titled “La Chanson de Roland “ by Louis Scutenaire.
He has exhibited with notable artists such as Alexander Calder, Fernando Botero, David Hockney, Joan Miro,
René Magritte and others.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet this eminent artist.
